My Experience and Qualifications

 

I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in maths, and a postgraduate teaching qualification. In over twenty four years of experience, I have been a classroom teacher, a head of department, an examiner and have been involved in educational management. For the last eight years my main focus has been tutoring students individually. I teach across a huge range of mathematical and statistical subjects. I hold an enhanced CRB check.

 

I have successfully taught a wide range of abilities and ages, from students taking their GCSEs and AS/A Levels for the first time, to mature students needing to pass maths exams in order to progress in their careers. I have up to date knowledge of all of the main qualifications including the new specifications in GCSE and AS/A Level Maths. I have assisted many students through to university courses, including those taking maths degrees at top universities like Cambridge.
