How can I help you?

I am currently providing one to one online tuition in maths and statistics to students of all ages from secondary education (year 10), to mature students. I hope to be able to return to face to face tuition when restrictions have lifted. We can have lessons as often as you wish (typically one session per week), or even on one off occasions to help you (or your son or daughter), with an area of maths that you are having trouble with. Experience has shown that regular one to one support is particularly effective in improving student's results. Students also find one to one tuition particularly useful during revision for exams.

There are many areas and levels of maths that I can help with, including:-

GCSE Maths or GCSE Statistics at any level (Foundation or Higher tiers)
AS/A Level Maths or Further Maths (including all Pure Maths (Core), Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Maths units)
Functional Skills Maths and help with basic numeracy
University entrance (including AEA and STEP papers) and International Baccalaureate Maths
If you require, I am able to provide full online home schooling in maths qualifications.

GCSE Maths or Statistics

I am able to provide help for GCSE Maths or GCSE Statistics at either tier (Foundation or Higher) for any exam board. I have taught and have extensive experience of all aspects of the new, more demanding, GCSE Maths 9-1 specifications. If you are taking your GCSEs for the first time, or returning to them as a mature student, I will be able to help you to maximise your potential. I have an extensive range of resources that I can share with you, and can organise an programme of study to suit your individual requirements.

AS/A Level Maths or Further Maths

I can provide expert one to one help in all aspects of AS or A Level Maths or Further Maths. I have successfully taught and tutored all of the modules over many years, and I have an extensive knowledge of the new 2018 specifications. I am currently an examiner for a number of the modules, and can give you effective advice on the requirements of the exam boards.

Other Maths Qualifications

There are many other maths qualifications that I can help with. I can assist with all qualifications for students from year 10 all the way up to and including university level. I can provide support for basic numeracy courses including functional skills. I also regularly tutor students in preparation for STEP papers, and have success in helping students gain places to study maths at top universities, including Cambridge and Warwick. In addition, I am able to help with the maths elements of university courses.
